US pop queens come to Manchester
06/03/2006
Sassy American pop and film star Hilary Duff is due to make her first appearance in Manchester this spring, as she arrives at the MEN Arena on her UK tour in April.
After starring in American hit TV series Lizzie McGuire, Duff has established herself on the big screen before launching a successful pop career, and is now coming to wow Mancunian crowds in the city.
The singer's career has skyrocketed after her first album Metamophosis went straight in at number one in the US and has received equally high praise in the UK.
She is due to perform in Manchester on Tuesday April 25th, with tickets on sale now.
Meanwhile, American Idol winner and Hilary Duff lookalike Kelly Clarkson is also Manchester-bound this week, as she performs tracks from her multi-million selling album 'Breakaway' at the MEN Arena on March 10th.
Clarkson, who shot to fame as the winner of American Idol in 2002, has had smash hits in the UK with Behind These Hazel Eyes and Because of You.
Clarkson has already performed at the Manchester Apollo last year at a sell-out gig, meaning tickets for her return performance at the MEN Arena are now highly sought-after.
