The Sanam Sweet House and Restaurant has undoubtedly stood the test of time, in that it has stayed at the very top of it’s game for over 40 years within the family who created it. It was the very first Restaurant to open the World Famous “Curry Mile” under the name of Café Sanam, and has grown from strength to strength in producing high quality traditional Pakistani Cuisine. Over 75% of it’s customers are Asians who return week in and week out, all of which come to expect the finest and freshest of ingredients in exquisite dishes from all over the sub continent. Situated at the beginning of the infamous "Curry Mile", Spicy Hut has recently been presented with 2 very prestigious curry chef awards: Manchester Heat, in which it came first, and North West (third). It also scored very high in the hygiene department, which is very important for peace of mind. Although classed as an Indian Restaurant, it specialises in Pakistani cuisine, where there is less emphasis on chilli and more concentration on flavours and everything is Halal and there is no food colouring.

Spice Hut's speciality is their sizzling flambé dishes (choice of eight) all of which are theatrically lit at your table. However, all your usual traditional Indian dishes are also available. The Restaurant has 67 seats downstairs in addition to a function room upstairs which caters for all types of functions & special occasions comfortably accommodating up to 55 people.

Spicy Hut not only has it's own takeaway service, it is one of the few Indian restaurants to provide home delivery as well. Most major credit/debit cards are accepted.
