Bacchanalia is the Greek word for a gathering of people eating, drinking and partying! Our peaceful location provides the perfect ambience for the perfect meal. We serve a mixture of Mediterranean inspired dishes with some English favourites thrown in for good measure.

Located on Chapel Walks 100 yards from King Street, the restaurant/bar is well situated for shoppers and business-folk alike, turning into a busy night-time venue for dinner and drinks. Downstairs is predominantly a bar, with fancy pants bartenders serving cocktails and a selection of wines that Bacchus (Greek god of wine) would be proud of, upstairs is the restaurant with an open planned kitchen. The Amphitheatre
The Amphitheatre is located on the 3rd floor of Bacchanalia and is a self contained space so whatever the occasion we can accommodate you, AV equipment available – inc digital projection, perfect for presentations or just showing embarrassing party pics! Buffets, canapés or sit down meals available. Private bar facilities.

We do not charge to hire the Amphitheatre, we simply stipulate a minimum spend which is set depending on what day of the week and time of year you are hiring the room.

We can cater for up to 80 people and can serve hot or cold buffets, hot or cold canapés or up to 45 people for a full ‘sit down’ meal.

The Amphitheatre is ideal for conferences, meetings, presentations, birthdays, weddings or Christmas parties.

Blacksticks is a newly opened restaurant situated in the heart of Monton village, serving high quality, affordable modern European food and wines. Creating a new level of fine dining on the outskirts of Manchester.

An eighty cover restaurant with dining tables over two floors. The upper floor with its separate bar can also be hired out for private events. Also on this floor are two champagne tables that can be booked to make the occasion extra special.
