The Pacific restaurant is one of the most well recognised of the growing list of Chinese restaurants in Manchester’s Chinatown. Offering alternatives to commonplace Cantonese cuisine, the restaurant boasts two dining areas dedicated to both Thai and Chinese cuisine. Each section is headed up by top chefs from that country, which is why we are not surprised the restaurant is a big favourite in the Chinese community as well as with business-types.
What with the amazing atmosphere, excellent service and fantastic cuisine you're sure to book a regular table.

Terrible just had lunch at the thai section. Very little choice and the food not replenished as it ran out. The staff were more interested in getting the place ready for the evening session. Wont be visiting this establishment again Misleading info on website by Julia Kay (rated 3/10)
If you look on the restaurant's website under special offers, it says (quote):"Enjoy a 30% discount off our à la carte menu during the hours of 12 - 5pm. Terms & Conditions apply, contact us for more information."
so I contacted them and the person on the phone, whose English was not very good, confirmed that this applied to the a la carte menu. So off the four of us went, ordered a fantastic meal thinking we would be making big savings, only to be told at the end that the discount applied to Dim Sum and nothing else. It spoiled what would have been a great meal. Not only that, I think it's really misleading so I'm going to give it a low rating. love the pacific by Nigel staley (rated 10/10)
I love this restaurant! It is the coolest Chinese restaurant in Manchester bar none!nThere's fusion cuisine and confusion cuisine but these guys really know their stuff. So sick of idiot, ill-trained chefs jumping on and ruining classic, timeless dishes. But here is nothing to fear here. Sublime! Magnificent! Historic, as Winner would say.
