Buying tickets to Old Trafford & Manchester Utd

Face value prices for tickets to senior games at Old Trafford:
£26.00 - £34.00

You probably don't need telling that tickets to first team games at Old Trafford are notoriously difficult to come by. There are always a bunch of touts or scalpers hanging around the stadium in the build-up to the match and you can usually get a ticket if you're prepared to pay through the nose for it (at least double face value, and often 4, even 10 times face value for a really big match - you have been warned!)

However there is a thriving market in cheap SINGLE seats right up until 48 hours or so before the game - usually sold by season ticket holders who cannot make it to the match. A single seat bought in this way usually costs from just £27-£35 depending on which type of seat is available.
So if you are happy to watch the match unaccompanied this is great of way of being assured of tickets at or very close to face-price, even if it's just a couple of days away from match-day. Try Man Utd tickets on Viagogo.

However, if you prefer to sit together and can afford it, you should try seeing if there is a 'hospitality' package still available from the club's official site which usually includes: Champagne reception, Three course a la carte menu, Complimentary Bar, Matchday Programme & gift, Car parking pass (1 per 4 guests), Watch the match from a padded executive seat.

These packages begin at £99 + VAT rising dependent on the level of luxury and the level of the opposition. So a top-end package to watch a big game like Chelsea at Old Trafford will cost about £300 but you do get looked after rather better than by the touts.
